cafecito
tonight we went down to cafecito. this spot is a great place to eat and drink at. we ordered a few mojitos, empanadas and some tostones for starters. I then ordered the camarones al ajillo plate while the lady had the pollo empanizado. the shrimp was good. its almost like asopoa de camarones but with lots of garlic. the chicken tasted good and was breaded with some cinnamon spices which would have tasted better in between two slices of bread rather then with rice and beans. then we continued drinking until we stumbled out this palce. cafecito is a cool little spot in the l.e.s.

la vuelta
on friday, we headed over to la vuelta for a quick bite and some drinks. the empanadas were calling me, along with a bunch of drinks. the chicken empandas was the best with seafood coming in as a close second. beef, pork and cheese empanadas were aight. the drinks are good here, came out this place doing that walk and mumbling some words.

cubana cafe
yesterday, after work we walked down smith street and went to cubana cafe. this spot is great. for appetizer we split a cuban sandwich which was ok, it comes with pulled pork instead of pernil which made it taste different from a cuban sandwich (post on cuban sandwich spots coming soon). I had the picadillo with rice and beans and the lady had the pulled pork with yuca. while eating we drank a bunch of mojitos. the picadillo was good, while eating I kept wondering if the empanada of the day was picadillo so I could order one but then I saw a piece of bread left from my half of the sandwich and I added some of her pulled pork and finished it off. man Im a yearning for more mojitos, if I didnt have to work today I dont even know how many more I wouldve ordered. great drinks and good food, I will be back at this spot or the one on thompson (in the village) real soon. 
session 73
on wednesday 5 pointz (one my favorite spots to chill at) had a fundraiser at session 73. this was my second time going to session so I already knew that they have good food there. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger sliders and the chicken sliders which come with bacon. you get three per plate and were around ten dollars each. they were so good I ordered the same thing again a few minutes after I finished the first order. my boy dingo ordered the chicken sliders also and my other boy order the bacon cheese burger sliders and some chicken dumplings. then everybody else around us started ordering food. it was a good night. my homie dj charm rocked the house with all the classics, them gang starr tracks were coming off the speakers really loud. and my other homie jon dog dread ripped the mic. this spot is aight, good food and good drinks.

the smoke joint and cakeman raven
on thursday I went to fette sau again but I wont be doing a post (review) on them everytime I go there (I go there alot, my favorite spot to grub at). last night I headed out to the smoke joint after work. last time I was there I had a half rack of saint louis ribs and half rack of baby back ribs (which are very good). this time I ate the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and cornbread. and the lady had the brooklyn wings with smoky greens and cornbread. the pulled pork was ok and came with a little bit of cole slaw which I put in the sandwich, but what really kept me going was the mac and cheese, its good. next time Im ordering it a couple of times. 
then we walked down fulton to cakeman raven. the best red velvet cake Ive ever tasted. Im always around this part of brooklyn and I eat at a bunch of spots around here and I always go to cakeman for dessert.
