this was difficult, lots of great albums dropped this year, I almost did a top 25 list but I narrowed it down to 15 and didnt even think twice about going for top 5 list. yall might not recognize some of the rappers on the list but yall should lend them yall ears. I would say more but its 6:54 am and Im tired.

section 80 was close to being on my album list but since that list was long and section 80 didnt drop a physical copy, I put it to top the mixtape list. that elmatic mixtape is hot and will sessions did his thing flipping the beats off of illmatic. immortal will always have my ear, so if yall want to learn several things about what is going on, press play on the martyr. currensy did his thing on an entirely produced by alchemist mixtape. coming off of dannys hybrid album in 2010, I couldnt be disappointed with anything he dropped. please go and support these artist they put in mad work this year.

I didnt watch that many movies this year, so this list wasnt that difficult to make. as an xmen fan, Im really feeling what they did with the prequel. rise of the planet of the apes is good. bridemaids and crazy stupid love are the best comedies of the year and tinker is a really good spy thriller.
