outback steakhouse
on saturday, after drinking a fifth of johnny blue, me and two cousins went over to outback steakhouse. They both had the blooming onion and ribeye steak. I had the bacon cheese fries, shrimp on the barbie, buffalo chicken strips and the trio dessert sampler (brownie with ice cream, carrot cake and cheesecake). this place always has good food and its always fun chillin with family in a good restaurant.

ron artest
I dont care for the lakers, celtics, kobe, pau or the truth (kg, lamar and jesus are cool). Im really happy for ron. his game seven performance was great and the lakers would have lost that game without him. through his actions after winning the chip you can tell that he really appreciates this.

rip iz the wiz
the 17th was the one year anniversary of his passing. Im glad to have had the privilege of meeting and talking to him before he passed. r.i.p. iz the wiz

the 16th was tupacs bornday, we would have been 39. I have a few issues with what pac did after he got shot but he had to do what he had to do. before that situation I was down with his cause and movement. vibe dropped these interviews last year around the time of his r.i.p anniversary, check them out.

big apple bbq block party
this afternoon we went to the big apple bbq block party. we had the western tennessee whole hog at martins bbq joints booth and then we ate the saint louis ribs at checkered pigs booth. the whole hog was good and was topped with some coleslaw and came with a couple of sweet pickles, which tasted weird but were very good. the ribs were great. they were topped with a sugary sort of spicy (not hot) bbq sauce and some coleslaw on the side. I always eat from the booths of out of town restaurants cause Im always in the new york bbq restaurants. I will defenitely be there early tomorrow to try ed mitchells booth and pappys smokehouse booth.

last night we went uptown, looking for some dominican food. we passed by tipico, malecon and casa de mofongo and they were all packed, so we went down to 116th street and ate at amy ruths. she had the fried chicken and waffles and I had the smothered pork chops. the chops are good everything else was decent.
